The Rishi Valley School
Golden Decade - 1954-1964
Over the years, some Golden Decaders had been in regular contact
with close Rishi Valley friends and the reunion provided them
an opportunity to be happy together.
So, for just two days in January last year, life
was put on hold and all were focussed on making the reunion
a memorable experience. |
It is believed that footprints
of a rishi living in these hills from the time of the Mahabharata,
were seen.
It was in these surroundings that J.Krishnamurti
envisioned a kind of education that was designed to "help
people understand the ways of society and not be caught in its
net." |
